Russell began serving as Pastor of Sunset Hill Baptist Church in November 2000. In addition to his full time pastoral duties he is a Chaplain with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department, as well as serving on the pastoral advisory committee for Life Services.Russell is an ordained Southern Baptist Minister. He attended Liberty Bible Institute and is a member of the National Chaplain’s Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.Russell gave his life to Christ at an early age, seven, and has served in various positions in the church, most of his life, as worship leader, Sunday School teacher, and janitor.
