About
Mount St. Michael, Spokane
St. Michael’s Parish is located at Mount St. Michael, a beautiful Tudor-Gothic structure high on a bluff overlooking northern Spokane. The building, which was constructed in 1916, served as a Jesuit scholasticate until 1968. Today Mount St. Michael continues to fulfill its mission as an educational and religious center. Maintained by the priests and Sisters of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen, it serves a variety of needs for Spokane area Catholics who value the traditional teachings and liturgy of their Faith. The east wing serves as a cloistered residence for the religious Sisters. The west wing houses church offices, a religious gift shop with hundreds of traditional Catholic books and religious goods, and a private academy for students from kindergarten through high school. A beautifully-adorned chapel located on the second floor serves as the parish church.
