Executive Women International, Spokane
Each year, the Spokane Chapter organizes two reading/writing rallies. One is held at an area elementary school, and the other is held at the Boys and Girls Club. The purpose for the reading rallies is to provide children with an opportunity to create a story and write it in a book of their own making. In addition, illustrators are on hand to help bring their stories to life with simple pictures. The highlight of these events are the authors who provide inspiration and real-life advice.
